You could "host" a multiplayer server, there is an admin setting that does something to that effect, iirc. Obviously that doesn't help you with a current character, but it's something. I could see there being merit to allowing more options for resetting the world map. With a couple toggles, you could allow all structures, including play-made, to be reset to original status. With another you could reset all zombie populations.
