Come on. New Vegas is easy to get filthy rich. Get your luck to 9, get the lucky shades or naughty nightwear and play blackkjack. Or just loot. Smokes, pre-war money and empty syringes have good weight to value ratios, not to mention all the weapons and armour you'll come across.
