The food isn't horrible, the location is great and there are some stellar professors. It can be hard to find friends if you're more introverted, but it'll all come together eventually.I like UofI for the most part, but the food is garbage and I've spoken to management about things like raw chicken multiple times. I've gotten food poisoning several times. I also have had many issues with maintenance requests.
