Actually there is nothing on my wish list right now, but that could change quickly.The 300 f/4 PF is about as sharp as its predecessor, which is plenty sharp for most people. The 300 f/4 PF + TC-14e III also handily beats the 80-400 at the 400mm end. Even with a TC-17e II at 500mm, I still find the 300 f/4 PF sharp enough on my D810. Encouraging to hear.

Yes a 800mm f5.6 + TC is doable. Actually, I was wondering about getting to 800mm f/5.6 by using the 2x TC on the upcoming 400mm f/2.8. In other words, put a 2x TC on and not use the internal 1.4x. My thinking is the additional length of the optical path that exists for the internal TC might preclude the usage of traditional TCs.Canon worked with Atomos to be able to record at 8K/30p with the Canon R5 C camera only.
